About Mar & Lennon Dentistry

Born and raised in Wichita, Dr. Mar attended Minneha, Coleman, and Southeast High School, Wichita State University and Creighton University for undergraduate receiving a degree in Chemistry and then Creighton University Dental School. He was an associate with another dentist in Wichita for 1 ½ years before he and his wife opened Mar & Lennon Dentistry. He thought it should be Lennon and Mar, but was outvoted.

Dr. Lennon grew up in Minnesota, attended Creighton University, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology before graduating from dental school in 1986. Shortly after, she and Dr. Mar established our Wichita dental practice.

Paula started working with us in 2005 after being a patient for 13 years! With a human resource background, she enjoys getting to know all of our patients. Her favorite aspect of working here is how we are so much like a family while we are caring for your family. She spends off-hours time with her family, including her husband, children, three grandchildren and her goldendoodle, Ruby Soo. She also enjoys her Peloton and traveling with her husband!

Caroline has been working with us since 1997 after earning an Associate's degree in Art from Hutchinson Community College. She began pursuing hygiene courses to become a dental hygienist while working as a dental assistant. She later realized being an assistant was the role for her. 

Callee joined our practice in 2002 after attending Wichita Area Technical College. She likes working with various patients each day. She lives in Andover with her husband and two children and spends her downtime attending activities her children participate in.

Helen earned her Bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University in 1988. She and her husband Jeff are both natives of Andover, Kansas. In her free time Helen enjoys spending time with her family. She also loves long distance running and her yellow lab, Louise!  

Jennifer joined the team in 2011. She is originally from Garden City and has lived in Wichita since 2005. She began as a dental assistant before continuing her education and earning a Bachelor's degree from the Wichita State University. She enjoys meeting new people and conversing with patients. She enjoys spending time with her son, Marek, as well as family, friends, and dogs.

Larissa, a 2011 graduate of Missouri Southern State University's dental hygiene program, joined our team in 2016. She earned an undergraduate degree from Kansas State University in 2007. She is originally from Sabetha, KS, and moved to Wichita several years ago. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and three sons.

Sarah graduated in 2001 from Wichita State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys visiting with and caring for her patients. When she is not enjoying work she is busy chasing her four kids!

I love meeting new people and having conversations! I live in Rose HIll with my husband and our 5 kids. When I'm not at work I'm spending time with my family doing something fun, usually going to the race tract or just being outdoors!

Ruby likes to welcome our patients, particularly children! Lunch is her favorite part of the day! We strive to provide our patients with a comforting and relaxing atmosphere, in which Ruby helps by comforting patients with anxiety issues. Did you know by simply petting a dog it can lower your blood pressure and bring an automatic relaxation response? Ruby is a Goldendoodle, who is non-shedding in addition to being hypo-allergenic. She has her Canine Good Citizen certification and she's also a certified Therapy Dog! Ruby has trained herself to make her rounds every hour or so to each operatory to check on her patients and she has a sharp sense to know when patients may need her! Ruby is very serious about her job and goes home with Paula at the end of the day!
